"And God said,...let them have dominion.... And God bless them,and God said unto them be fruitful and multiply,and replenish the earth,and subdue it:and gave dominion over the fishes of the sea,and over the fowl of the air,and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.(Genesis 1:26,28KJV)
The chronological records of the dispensational reveals of God with mankind reveals the following responsibility, failure, judgement and mercy.
Responsibility:
God will continual place a demand on mankind in any given dispensation.
failure:
man will always fail to meet God's requirement(s)by choosing to act independently of God,through self will and complete disobedience to God's instructions.
Judgment:
Every disobedience by God will usually be seconded by God's judgement. Judgement is inevitable relative to man's failure to meet God's demands.
Mercy:
God will always show himaelf merciful. Under every condition,the failures of man are always met by God's wonderful provisions of salvation.
DEFINING TRUE DOMINON
True dominion is not the absense of authority,but the presence of its approval.it is not just about the authority to rule, that authority (power)must be divinely approved! If God approves your calling, man's opinion or disapproval of it will not matter at all.
The call to have domioin is a 'God-commanded' function divinely delegated Adam and his wife.it is also true about UA today.
"And God saidlrt them have dominion"
when he made the heaven his throne and the earth his footstool,what he did precisely is that,he extended his ruler ship here on earth reproduced himself in you,bestowed his beauty,splendour,power and honour,and made you a co ruler with himself over his entire creation.to be precise,he gave you dominion!you are a stakeholder with God in the administration of the kingdom of this world system.if you are passionate about God and the expansion of his kingdom here on earth.
Keep thy heart with all diligence;for out of it are issues of life-proverbs 4:23
The new English Bible translation says,"guard your heart more than any treasure,for it is the source of all life."
In 1peter1:13,peter also reiterates:
Wherefore grid up the loins your mind,be sober....
Your mind is such a crucial assets to a victorious life.the mind is so vital that is the main target of Satan's attack in the man.the mind is the eye of the man.what it sees and accepts,shapes a man's life and determines his state.
This is why the devil would rather have more blind minds than blind eyes.he will never success in flooring anyone;whose mind he has not first held captive.
The enemy cannot reach you expect through your mind.the moment he captures your mind he has hot you! Romans8:6 says
For to be carnally is death:but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
There is a spirtualising process of the mind that makes the abundant life that Jesus came to offer us a reality.Jesus didn't come to paralyse your mind,rather he came to upgrade it.
The enemy constantly hunting for your mind.it is the base of his operations.he took over peter's mind and peter became Satan on the spot.Jesus said in Matthew 16:23,"get the behind me Satan."peter no longer saw things the way Gos saw then.he stood against God,in the arm of the flesh.
Every time you find yourself arguing against the word of God,just know that the devil is behind it.
His ministry is to make you captive,so you become an enemy of the truth.you now find yourself turning back on the truth, each time you come in contact with it
